Soonfor Software Was Invited to Attend Dongguan's digital transformation conference and put forward important suggestions!

Recently, a symposium on the series of proposals on promoting the high-quality development of Dongguan's digital economy was held at the Dongguan Municipal Government. The meeting was chaired by Vice Mayor Wan Zhuopei of Dongguan. Secretary Xiao Yafei, CPPCC Chairman Luo Zhaoqun, members of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC, representatives from various government departments, including the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Cyberspace Affairs Office of the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the Municipal Development and Reform Bureau, and the Municipal Finance Bureau, as well as representatives from various associations, including the Digital Industry Association, the CIO Association, the Big Data Association, and the Software Industry Association, and representatives from eleven enterprises, including Soonfor Software, Kingdee, Huawei Cloud, and DeRUCCI, attended the meeting.

The meeting first heard a report from the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology on the handling of the proposals, after which representatives of the proposers put forward their opinions and suggestions. Afterwards, representatives from six enterprises and two associations each delivered speeches and made recommendations.

As a corporate representative, Soonfor Software put forward two suggestions at the meeting:

01 Focus on mid-level talent

During digital transformation, in actual enterprise operations, the most difficult talent to recruit is in fact mid-level talent. The government already has relatively good policies for high-end talent and entry-level talent, and it is hoped that more attention will be paid to the introduction of mid-level talent and that some related support policies will be provided.

02 Local enterprises that empower others also need support

Dongguan-based enterprises also undertake many service projects outside the city. For example, Soonfor Software has several intelligent manufacturing projects worth tens of millions of yuan in other provinces, and it is hoped that the government can provide appropriate encouragement.

Suggestions from the CIO Association

A representative of the CIO Association said in the speech: "Build nests to attract phoenixes and tilt support toward local service providers."

First, leading enterprises in the digital industry should be fully leveraged.

Second, a group of service providers for digital transformation in manufacturing should be brought together.

Third, policies should favor local service providers. For local software enterprises expanding business outside Dongguan, revenue-based incentives and subsidies should be granted to support local service providers in growing stronger and larger.

At the end of the meeting, the government affirmed the two suggestions raised by the Soonfor Software representative and stated that it would formulate specific measures on these two points in the future.

As long as we keep pace with the government, follow national guidance, fulfill our responsibilities in promoting the digital economy, and contribute our own strength, the future will certainly be promising. Digitalization is no longer a vague concept; it is something real that surrounds us. How should traditional enterprises carry out digital transformation?

1. Management software

Full-process informatized management can be implemented from the sales channel end, the factory's internal management end, and the supply chain end. Through informatized methods, enterprise management processes and processing workflows can all be digitized and then connected, eliminating intermediate links, waste, and waiting.

2. Fine-grained control

Once enterprise informatization has developed to a certain stage, it is also possible to carry out fine-grained control over the production process. APS advanced planning and scheduling systems, MES manufacturing execution systems, and other tools can be added, while warehousing management and supply chain management can be gradually improved.

3. Intelligent manufacturing + intelligent marketing

The final goal is to achieve intelligent manufacturing, supported by intelligent marketing, so that enterprises can complete comprehensive digital transformation, strengthen brand endorsement, and enable Made in China to put on indestructible armor, stand proudly on the global stage, and lead the world's manufacturing industry toward shared progress.
