To welcome the 20th CPC National Congress, Dongguan Radio and Television Station launched the five-episode television documentary Extraordinary Decade: Dongguan's Answer Sheet on October 9, 2022. Since the reform and opening-up, Dongguan's processing trade has flourished, and industries such as furniture, apparel, and toys have occupied very large production shares internationally and enjoyed a strong reputation. Promoting high-quality development of manufacturing cannot be separated from the transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing. In this themed event, Yangchen Furniture, a ten-year customer of Soonfor Software and an outstanding representative furniture enterprise in Dongguan, was interviewed by Dongguan TV and featured in an in-depth report.

Dongguan Yangchen Furniture Group was founded in 1988. It is a large multinational home furnishing group integrating furniture and home product design and research and development, production and manufacturing, online and offline sales, direct and channel sales, delivery and installation, and other services. It owns 11 domestic production and manufacturing bases located in Meizhou, Dongguan, and Shaoguan in Guangdong Province, covering a total area of about 1,200 mu, as well as 2. overseas production and manufacturing bases in Vietnam and Indonesia, covering about 600 mu. In 2016, Yangchen Furniture planned its overseas market layout and began selling self-owned brand products. Chairman Wu Weichen said, "I believe going global is the main trend of future development, and we have also set up a dedicated overseas trade department specifically to expand foreign markets."

Over the past decade, Dongguan has strengthened top-level design for promoting the high-quality development of advantageous traditional industries, guided enterprises toward high-end, digital, branded, and green development, smoothed the domestic and international dual circulation, and promoted the transformation and upgrading of advantageous traditional industries.

"After nearly ten years of development, we have also responded to the national policy call to go global, and we have factories in Vietnam and Indonesia, both of which are not small in scale," said Wu Weichen, chairman of Dongguan Yangchen Furniture Co., Ltd.

Although the company has encountered many difficulties in its development this year due to the impact of the pandemic, a series of measures over the years, including increased R&D investment, intelligent transformation, and overseas market expansion, have kept Wu Weichen confident about future development. "Although this is a traditional industry, China has a population of more than 1.4. billion, and future market demand remains huge."
