Meiya & Soonfor ERP concluded, breaking the enterprise's "supply chain islands"

2020 was an extraordinary year. The pandemic had a major impact on all industries, prices of various raw materials kept rising, and operating costs surged. At the same time, it made enterprises realize the urgency and importance of informatization. Improving management efficiency and reducing costs became imperative. Meiya chose to launch the Soonfor ERP system, taking its digital management to a new level.

From kickoff to project closure, the project took only two months. Representatives from each department of the Meiya informatization project team summarized the implementation process of this ERP project and the changes and improvements it brought to the work of each department at Meiya.

Meiya Project Manager Li Shu introduced the results delivered by this ERP project from three aspects:

1. Broke down supply chain information silos;

2. Enabled standardization, accurate data, and real-time operations across the supply chain;

3. Optimized and restructured the company's business processes.

The success of the project depended on the joint efforts of all participants. Afterwards, Soonfor Project Manager Liao Zhanmao gave a detailed introduction to the ERP implementation status of each department and summarized the changes in the work of each department after go-live from five aspects. He also put forward suggestions for the future use of Soonfor's informatization system, including production-finance-cost integration and group-based internal transactions.

The project has closed, but the service continues. Soonfor Project Director Zhang Zhenxiao gave a detailed explanation of recommendations for follow-up project services, service arrangements, and service content.

The closure of an informatization project is both an ending and a beginning. Meiya Project Director Luo Li said, "The original intention of adopting informatization was to reduce enterprise costs, increase revenue and reduce expenditure, and improve end-user satisfaction. During this project, many people were proactive during system go-live, became familiar with the related business processes, and worked overtime to organize materials during the launch period. Another group earned Soonfor ERP system operation skill certificates through their own hard study.

Summary

This project enabled Meiya Industries to achieve platform-integrated informatization, intelligent online approval, standardized operating processes, shared basic data, and standardized system construction, pushing Meiya's informatization management to a new height.

The ERP system enables planned management of Meiya Industries' resources, especially its supply chain. Through the rational allocation and use of resources, it maximizes efficiency and reduces resource occupation costs.
