To help Sichuan home furnishing enterprises better realize the transformation from finished products to customization and improve their digital management level, on December 20, the private board meeting themed Top-Level Thinking for Digital Transformation of Sichuan Home Furnishing Enterprises, hosted by the Sichuan Furniture Industry Chamber of Commerce, was successfully held at Tivoli Hotel in Chengdu Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo Park. The event specially invited Zhang Aiguo, founder and chairman of Guangdong Soonfor Software and a senior digitalization expert in the home furnishing industry, together with teachers Ma Jianrong and Liu Yihui from his team, to deliver special sharing sessions.
With the theme How Home Furnishing Enterprises Can Open Up Top-Level Thinking for Digital Transformation, the event attracted leading Sichuan home furnishing enterprises and well-known brands such as Quanyou, Bayi, Yilian, Jinhu, and Aide. Wang Xiaoli, Secretary-General of the Sichuan Furniture Industry Chamber of Commerce, chaired the meeting and delivered the opening speech. Chairman Zhang Aiguo delivered a keynote sharing session titled How Home Furnishing Enterprises Can Open Up Top-Level Thinking for Digital Transformation. He mainly analyzed in depth how to establish digital top-level thinking and design from the four major systems of production, marketing, delivery, and service. He emphasized that the core of digital top-level thinking is the customer, and the boss is the key. Digital transformation is not simply moving offline business online, but using digital tools to connect the entire domain of R&D design, marketing promotion, production and manufacturing, material control and procurement, financial accounting, warehousing and logistics, after-sales service, and more, realizing enterprise digital and intelligent transformation, empowering enterprises with digitalization, helping enterprises efficiently complete the whole process from production to delivery, and ultimately achieving cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Profile of the keynote experts Teacher Zhang Aiguo graduated from the Department of Mathematics at Sun Yat-sen University and is a senior expert in informatization and digitalization theory and practice, with more than 30 years of experience in informatization and digitalization in the home furnishing industry. He began working in enterprise informatization in 1989, focused on home furnishing industry informatization from 1995, and founded Soonfor Software Co., Ltd. in 2003, committing himself to promoting management upgrades in the home furnishing industry through integrated digital solutions. In the industry, Teacher Zhang enjoys a high reputation. He has been honored as an Influential Figure of the Era in China's Furniture Industry, and serves as Chairman of the Guangdong Home Furnishing Industry Intelligent Manufacturing Committee and consultant to the think tank committee of the Guangdong Home Furnishing Industry Research Institute. In addition, he has been appointed as a visiting professor at Central South University of Forestry and Technology and selected for Dongguan's manufacturing digital transformation empowerment expert pool. He is a top expert in top-level planning for digital transformation of home furnishing enterprises, and more than 1,000 furniture enterprise owners have participated in Teacher Zhang's digital transformation private board meetings. Teacher Liu Yihui shared the integrated solution for digital transformation of home furnishing enterprises through 69 key points across the full value chain. Issues such as insufficient overall delivery capability of personnel and equipment in production and manufacturing, how to maximize cost control in procurement and production, delivery-cycle problems, and departmental walls are all current roadblocks hindering enterprise development. In response, the experts answered these questions for the enterprises one by one and provided valuable suggestions and guidance.
