On December 21, 2023, the Chengdu Furniture Enterprise Digital Transformation Private Board Meeting, hosted by the Chengdu Furniture Chamber of Commerce, was held at a hotel in southern Chengdu.

The private board meeting was chaired by Luo Weijie, Secretary-General of the Chengdu Furniture Chamber of Commerce. Chamber President Gu Haodong first delivered a speech, saying that 2023 was an extraordinary year for Chengdu furniture people. Large enterprises were at the subsistence line, medium-sized enterprises were at the break-even line, and small enterprises were at the life-and-death line. The furniture market has undergone profound changes: from finished products to customization, from single products to whole-home, from batch production to personalization, from manual work to intelligence, from offline to online, and from traffic aggregation to traffic diversion. Digital construction and transformation are an important engine for Chengdu furniture to move toward high-quality development, and he hoped the private board meeting would bring gains and value to everyone.

Next, Secretary-General Luo introduced the special guest speaker of the private board meeting, Teacher Zhang Aiguo, Chairman of Guangdong Soonfor Software Company. Headquartered in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, the company focuses on providing integrated digital solutions such as intelligent manufacturing and intelligent marketing for pan-home furnishing enterprises. Teacher Zhang Aiguo also comprehensively interpreted how to establish digital top-level thinking and design from perspectives including the essence of digitalization for home furnishing enterprise management, the ultimate model of digital transformation, the underlying logic and top-level thinking of enterprise digitalization, and the key paths of digital transformation.

Teacher Zhang Aiguo graduated from the Department of Mathematics at Sun Yat-sen University and is a senior expert in informatization and digitalization theory and practice, with more than 30 years of experience in informatization and digitalization in the home furnishing industry. He began working in enterprise informatization in 1989, focused on home furnishing industry informatization from 1995, and founded Soonfor Software Co., Ltd. in 2003, committing himself to promoting management upgrades in the home furnishing industry through integrated digital solutions. In the industry, Teacher Zhang enjoys a high reputation. He has been honored as an Influential Figure of the Era in China's Furniture Industry, and serves as Chairman of the Guangdong Home Furnishing Industry Intelligent Manufacturing Committee and consultant to the think tank committee of the Guangdong Home Furnishing Industry Research Institute. In addition, he has been appointed as a visiting professor at Central South University of Forestry and Technology and selected for Dongguan's manufacturing digital transformation empowerment expert pool. He is a top expert in top-level planning for digital transformation of home furnishing enterprises, and more than 1,000 furniture enterprise owners have participated in Teacher Zhang's digital transformation private board meetings.

Enterprise top leaders including Huang Jin, Chairman of Chengdu Curya Home; Zhang Shibin, Chairman of Fanhua Furniture; Yu Kai, Chairman of Gaosheng Home; Wu Changsheng, Chairman of Diyan Home; and Lin Jijun, Chairman of Zhengrong Wangpai Furniture, gave their answers and shared the pain points and difficulties they had encountered in the process of digital transformation. Teacher Zhang Aiguo answered them one by one in detail.
